She is a graduate of the University of Ilorin where she obtained an LL.B Honours and was subsequently called to the Nigerian Bar in 2004 as Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria.

She is also a graduate of the University of Dundee where she obtained an LL.M. She is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers.
